United goes all in on iPad

Interesting news from TechPubs client United Airlines. They’re planning to equip their pilots and fleet (including newly acquired Continental) with in-cockpit iPad EFBs, citing cost savings due to reduced weight vs traditional paper flight bags, as well as “green” impacts from going paperless, and, importantly, safety benefits.
